Description

Seeking psychiatric APP with minimum 2 years experience to join our team.

Position Details

  • The APP will provide diagnostic and therapeutic patient care under the supervision of the behavioral health medical director, behavioral health administrator as well as other physicians. 
  • Patient care will be provided in an outpatient clinical setting. 
  • Care includes, but is not limited to, the following: performing initial psychiatric evaluations; developing a differential and working diagnosis; ordering laboratory and diagnostic tests; developing and ordering treatment plans and clinically managing appropriate medications associated with psychiatric disorders; providing patient and family education regarding psychiatric disorders; coordinating specialty consults as indicated; and providing outreach in clinic settings, nursing homes and school based settings
